FAQs:

What is your rescheduling/late cancellation policy?
Appointment cancellations and/or schedule changes made less than 48 hours in advance are subject to a $50 rebooking fee for medical appointments, and $150 for cosmetic appointments and procedures. Changes to appointments can be made by phone, text, in-office, or email.

Are cosmetic procedures covered by insurance or FSA/HSA? Can I use my FSA or HSA card at checkout?

No. Cosmetic procedures are not covered by insurance and are not eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement. FSA/HSA accounts typically cover only medically necessary treatments. Patients are responsible for verifying coverage with their plan administrator.

What is my responsibility for payment?
Patients are responsible for all copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and any services not covered by insurance. Payment for cosmetic services is due at the time of service.

We do not offer payment plans, however, we do accept AfterPay - Visit https://www.afterpay.com/en-US to apply.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring:

  • A valid photo ID

  • Your insurance card

  • Any required referral or authorization

  • A list of current medications

Do we offer TeleHealth/Virtual appointments?
Yes. Telehealth services are available only to patients who are physically located in Washington State at the time of their appointment. Patients who are outside of Washington State are not eligible for telehealth visits.

Skin Checks and Insurance Coverage

As a specialist dermatology office, skin checks are billed as specialist medical evaluations. Please note, we do not bill wellness visits to insurance. Billing is based on your medical history, findings, and risk factors. Preventive wellness visits should be completed with your Primary Care Provider (PCP).

Do you treat children?
Yes. We treat pediatric patients. A parent or legal guardian with valid photo ID must be present for the visit.

Can gender affirming laser hair removal be billed through insurance?

Yes, for most commercial insurance plans - please check with your carrier to see requirements and if you have eligible benefits. To start this process you will need to schedule as a new patient in-office with one of our medical providers. At your first appointment we will need your insurance card, along with any signed documentation from your physician regarding your diagnosis. This information, together with the details from your consultation, will be submitted to your insurance provider for a pre-determination of coverage. Once pre-approval is received, we can begin to schedule approved areas for treatment.
